Caterpillar was born in 2012 from one simple belief — that the earliest years of a child’s life are the most powerful, and they deserve nothing but the very best. What started as a dream is today a thriving community of children, parents, and educators who believe that childhood is not a race, but a garden worth tending with patience and joy.
We are a playschool, offering learning in English, Bengali, and Hindi medium, so that no child ever feels like a stranger in their own classroom. We celebrate the richness of all three languages because we believe that the more languages a child grows up with, the wider their world becomes.
Our classrooms are not just rooms — they are living environments designed to invite curiosity, spark creativity, and nurture independence. Every corner, every shelf, every material is placed with intention.

Growing in Confidence Now that they’ve found their footing, children begin to stretch their wings a little more. Language begins to bloom, friendships begin to form, and little hands are always busy — creating, stacking, drawing, pouring, and playing with purpose. This stage is where social skills quietly take root.
Ready to Leap By now, your child is a confident, curious, expressive individual ready to take on the world. Problem-solving, storytelling, group play, and early academic readiness — this stage prepares children emotionally, socially, and intellectually for the next great adventure: big school.
